According to the star, he is even willing to do a role of 'objectified man-totty' in a female centred film.

#1 Winning Respect From His Fans Worldwide

Recently 'Sherlock' star Benedict Cumberbatch gave a statement which has won the star respect not only from his female costars but all from his fans globally. Cumberbatch in his statement revealed that he won't be signing any new roles until and unless his female costars will be paid equally for their roles. It seems like Cumberbatch is the first star to address the matter, which for so many years has been neglected.

#2 Equal Pay And A Place At The Table Is The Central Tenet Of Feminism

In an interview with Radio Times, Cumberbatch said that equal pay is "the central tenet of feminism." The actor added, "It’s about implementation. Equal pay and a place at the table are the central tenets of feminism. Look at your quotas. Ask what women are being paid, and say: 'If she’s not paid the same as the men, I’m not doing it.'"

#3 Sherlock Also Talked About His Upcoming Movie Project

Cumberbatch also said that his new production company is all about promoting females and is actively involved in developing female-led projects. Sherlock also revealed about his upcoming project, proudly telling that his new project is a unique story that will revolve around motherhood at time of an environmental disaster, he said, "I’m proud that [friend and business partner] Adam and I are the only men in our production company; our next project is a female story with a female lens about motherhood, in a time of environmental disaster."

#4 It's About Facilitating Platforms For Talent

Discussing the matter, the actor said that he is using the opportunity to use his name for the purpose to get more investors. According to Cumberbatch, half the audience is female, the matter is all about giving the right platform to the talent and if done in the right direction then the result is astounding, "If it’s centred around my name, to get investors, then we can use that attention for a raft of female projects. Half the audience is female. And, in terms of diversity, Black Panther is now the third most successful film of all time. The audience is there! It’s about facilitating platforms for talent. If you do that, the combination is combustible – world-beating. That’s what we want to do."

So long as it was fun. I’d have to be in good shape, though. Prepare."
