If you have never watched the show Scrubs, you have no idea what you are missing. It is not your regular hospital show filled with drama and strange diseases that need to be diagnosed. It gives you some insight on what it takes to become a doctor while also keeping your sense of humor intact. There are some deep storylines, but it is the humor that keeps you hooked on the show. Here are some highlights that will make you understand why the show was so awesome.
Sticks and Stones
JD is one of the stars of the show and never ceases to make us laugh. His revelations can be quite enlightening.
Elliot tries so hard to get Dr. Cox to acknowledge her. When he finally does, he usually hits her with a real zinger to her pride. He never fails to give us a laugh at Elliot's expense.
Dr. Kelso is just one big grumpy jerk who hardly ever has anything nice to say to anyone. While he is incredibly rude to his fellow doctors and nurses, we cannot help but be amused by his candor.
Turk and JD have a bond that most people would love to have with at least one person in their lifetime. Their relationship is friendship goals that we all wish we had.
If you think that Dr. Cox can be a real jerk, then you should meet Jordan. She definitely gives that man a run for his money, and their dynamic is intriguing, to say the least.
When Danni confesses to JD that she has an inner monologue in her head, his reaction is hilarious. For those who do not know, most of the show is based on the inner monologue coming from JD's head.
Filling Out Forms
These doctors in the making have a lot to learn. Jason needs to know what is and is not appropriate to put on a patient's exam report before he catches himself on the wrong side of a lawsuit.
Turk and Carla are a perfect example of relationship goals. Turk is a total man-child, but she puts up with it and loves him no matter what. She is hot-tempered but he loves her fire, and his personality balances her out.
Elliot really cannot with when it comes to Dr. Cox. Don't get it wrong. He may act like a total jerk, but he really does care about these people. He just has a funny way of showing it.
I need one too
Ted is probably one of the most depressing characters on the show. He has no life and his social skills are seriously lacking. Plus, he never seems to say the right thing.
Not This Time
The janitor on this show is one of the main characters, but we never knew his name. It was not until the season 8 finale that he finally told us his name is Glenn Matthews. His character really had it out for JD, and we have no idea why.
JD is one of the characters in this show that just made the show great. He was such a goofball, and we could not help to fall in love with him.
The only other person who desperately sought Dr. Cox's attention besides Elliot was JD. He looked up to him and found him to be a brilliant doctor that he hoped to be just like someday. They have a great dynamic, and even though Dr. Cox does not show it often, he really cares for JD.
Happy To See Me?
JD was super awkward with the women, and he really did not have much luck with them. We think that his best relationship on the show was his relationship with Elliot. The two made quite the pair.
JD always finds himself in embarrassing situations like this one. He quickly learns that not all George Michael songs should be sung out loud when no one else knows that the music is playing.
He Can Dance
Here is another great example why we love Turk and Carla's dynamic so much. She tries so hard to be serious, and he just makes it impossible.
While Laverne was not one of the main characters on the show, when she did appear, it was memorable. She was snappy with her comebacks and did not take crap from anyone.
